Helping others has always been a passion of mine and providing therapy has allowed me to do just that. I grew up in Casper and moved back after college to help those in my community. I graduated from the University of Wyoming with both my Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Social Work in 2009 and 2011. I began my career working at the Children's Advocacy Project where I became a trained Forensic Interviewer, interviewing children who have been abused, neglected and/or witnessed violent crimes. I then transitioned to work at the Department of Family Services as a Case Worker and moved to Investigations. I gained a wealth of knowledge in the Juvenile Court system and the workings of other agencies, such as law enforcement, CASA and attorneys as many cases were worked together with partner agencies. I then completed the appropriate requirements and testing to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with children, adolescents and adults providing Individual and Family Therapy. I specialize in working with victims of abuse and children who have been placed in the Foster Care system and am a Certified Trauma Professional. I focus on using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused and Client Centered Approach. I continue to attend trainings in several areas to ensure I can provide my clients with the best services and supports possible.
I graduated from Walden University in 2017 with my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Counseling. During my educational career, I was granted a lifetime membership to PSI Chi, the international Honor Society in Psychology. I have also obtained certifications in Reactive Attachment Disorder, Internal Family Systems & Treating Complex Trauma. I began my career working in an inpatient mental health facility for at-risk youth. During this time, I treated adolescents with complex trauma, substance abuse & sexual/physical abuse. I then transitioned to Solutions Counseling Services, where I provide mental health treatment for children and families. My therapeutic approach and modalities consist of Psychodynamic, Client-Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral, Gestalt & Play Therapy. I strive to develop a strong therapeutic relationship with each of my clients in attempts to provide them with their own customized mental health treatment. It is my goal to provide each of my clients with the appropriate psychoeducation as well as coping skills they need to reach their highest level of mental health.
